Meet The Maker // Snippet

I took this theme quite literally.

Actual snippets of gold and silver metal, collected during hours of handcrafting hundreds of pieces.

Each little bead strung onto metal wire, each segment of chain severed, each trimmed end of a hoop earring — all the tiny metal clippings are saved and consolidated into glass jars until its time for them to be recycled into new materials, like new wire and sheet.

Precious metals like gold and silver are finite, so as a jewelry maker, it’s important for me to be conscientious about that.
